Here are D2Majors.com, most of our items are legit or permed -- unless they are marked as unperm.
What is Non Perm?
Nonperm items (also called unperm) are items that have a chance to be deleted in every game that you join. The item has a significantly higher chance to be deleted if there is more than 1 of the same item in the game. For instance, two people both join with bugged Wizard Spike gloves. Whoever leaves first (with using the trade window perm technique), their item will *not* be deleted, but to the rest of the people in that game, their bugged Wizard Spike gloves will have a high chance of being deleted.
Nonperm items have a chance to be deleted even if there is only one of the item in the game, so it is smart to follow the temp-perm method (stated below) in every game that you join with a nonperm item (including private games).
What is a Non Perm Set of Items?
Non Perm sets of items are sets of items that will be deleted if there is more than 1 of the same set of items in the game. I buy my runes in Non Perm sets of 40, meaning for example I have up to 40 Ber Runes on one character, that do not dissapear when in the same game. Each of the 40 Ber Runes has a different code, so they do not cause eachother to delete. That means you may buy multiple ammounts of the same rune from me (in one purchase), and they will not make eachother dissapear. Here is an example: two people both join with a Ber Rune that has the same code. Whoever leaves first, their item will *not* be deleted, but to the rest of the people in that game, their Ber Rune will be deleted. Non Perm Runes & Jewels will not be deleted once they have been socketed into an item (if the item you socketed them into was nonperm, the item will remain nonperm, but the jewels/runes won't dissapear out of the sockets).
Is there a way to protect my item from being deleted?
Yes, there is a way of getting around this (called temp-perm method), and it works 99.5% of the time.
Temp-perm Method: Open a trade window with someone, click cancel trade, and then be the first person to exit the game IMMEDIATELY after clicking cancel trade (hit cancel then exit immediatly). *Note* The person you are doing this to must NOT have the same item!
You must use this "temp-perm method" in every game you join with nonperm items.
There is an estimated 0.5% chance of a nonperm item dissapearing after it has been temp-permed, even if there was not another of the same item in the game. GGD2,LLC is not responsable for items that are deleted from Blizzard's Dupe scanner.
